Billing
This article explains how Source bills you for the services it provides.
Billing Overview
Source charges a flat rate fee for all transactions on the platform. The fee is 12% of your transaction's subtotal. So, if your transaction's subtotal is 100 dollars, Source will add 12 dollars to your subtotal. Your subtotal will be 112 dollars.
Taxes
Source will calculate all applicable taxes and add them to your subtotal to determine your net total. Your net total will be the final amount charged to successfully process your transaction.
Other Fees
Source may charge other fees as required by any state, federal or local ordinances, or any requirements as stipulated by any state, federal, or local organizations or any international organization so duly recognized and authorized to require the billing of such extraneous fees.
Applicable Services
The flat rate fee, and applicable taxes and other fees will apply to all transactions for any of Source's two services. The services are: Sending and Receiving Payments, and Payroll Processing.
Sending and Receiving Payments
Source considers Sending and Receiving Payments to be one service under the banner, User-to-User ( or Business-to-Business) Payments.
Payroll Processing
Source considers Payroll Processing to be one service distinct and seperate from Sending and Receiving Payments.
Accepted Payment Methods
Source allows you to use any of the following payment methods to complete transactions.
- Bank transfers (ACH)
- Debit/Credit cards
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Any other virtual wallet.
Source does not allow you to complete any transaction using prepaid debit cards.
Failed Transactions & Retries
If a transactions fails, Source will notify you by email and make one more attempt to process the payment. If the transaction fails again, Source will notify you of the second failed transaction and will not re-attempt another transaction for that transaction. You can attempt a new transaction. If the new transaction fails, Source will not re-attempt a second transaction for the new transaction. If you try a third transaction and it fails, Source will suspend your access to the platform. We will notify you that your access to the platform has been suspended for cause.
Refunds
If your transaction succeeds, but your account is over debited, or the recipient's account is under credited, or the recipient cannot access the funds for use, Source will reverse the transaction and refund you the total amount of the transaction.
